TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Delivery & Access
1.1 The receiver must ensure safe and adequate access for delivery vehicles, including sufficient road width, overhead clearance, and turning space.
1.2 If delivery cannot be completed due to inadequate access or unsafe site conditions, additional charges may be applicable.
1.3 Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by traffic, weather, or other factors beyond HUB’s control. HUB is not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from delays in delivery.
2. Unloading
2.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the receiver is responsible for providing suitable unloading equipment (e.g. forklift or crane) and competent personnel (e.g. licensed riggers or dogmen) at the delivery site.
2.2 The delivery driver is not required to unload goods unless agreed with HUB team prior to delivery and may refuse delivery if it is deemed unsafe.
2.3 Any waiting time incurred due to site delays may be charged at HUB’s standard rates.
3. Risk & Responsibility
3.1 HUB accepts no liability for damage to property, underground services, or access ways caused by delivery vehicles where the receiver has directed site access.
3.2 The receiver must ensure all unloading areas are stable, level, and capable of supporting delivery vehicles and equipment.
4. Safety & Compliance
4.1 All parties must comply with applicable workplace health and safety laws and site-specific requirements.
4.2 If HUB or the delivery driver reasonably believes delivery or unloading cannot be carried out safely, delivery may be postponed or cancelled at the receiver’s cost.
5. Returns & Claims
5.1 Claims for missing, damaged or defective goods must be reported in writing within 3 Working of delivery. Notification after this period may not be accepted and additional costs for re-supplying the missing or damaged Items may be applicable.
5.2 Material Acceptance Form (MAF) material_acceptance_form.docx should be used and sent to Info@hub-group.com email address
6. Governing Law and Regulations
6.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the state or territory in which delivery takes place and align with Australian Work Health and Safety (WHS) Regulations and relevant Australian Standards for lifting and materials handling.
